Mike Bradley of Model First Aid, Safety and Training was given the opportunity through his church, Kentwood Community Church, to contribute safety goggles to help African workers be safer while spliting rocks to build roads in Burundi, Africa.   KCC’s contact in Africa is a non-profit construction company. They are working with a grant from the United Nations to help get Burundi back on its feet.

Mike Bradley said, “They are breaking the rocks by hand and then putting them on the road and using a huge hand mallet to pound them into the road bed. Obviously breaking rocks by hand creates flying particles so I was approached about getting them goggles to protect their eyes.” Safety Pays!

Model was grateful for the opportunity to improve safety on another continent!

Have a clean and safe day!
